Customized working tables of different sizes are available to fit the demands from delicate crafts to large furniture processing.
Laser cutting and engraving on the large format MDF wood can be realized easily thanks to the two-way penetration design, which allows wood board placed through the whole width machine, even beyond the table area. Your production, whether cutting and engraving, will be flexible and efficient.
Air assist can blow the debris and chippings from the surface of wood, and protect the MDF from scorching during laser cutting and engraving. Compressed air from the air pump is delivered into the carved lines and incision through the nozzle, clearing the extra heat gathered on the depth. If you want to achieve burning and darkness vision, adjust the pressure and size of airflow for your desire. Any questions to consult us if you are confused about that.
The lingering gas can be absorbed into the exhaust fan to eliminate the smoke bothering the MDF and laser cutting. Downdraft ventilation system cooperated with fume filter can bring out the waste gas and clean the processing environment.
Smooth operation makes a requirement for the function-well circuit, whose safety is the premise of safety production.

Plywood is made of multiple thin wood veneers and glues adhered to layers. As a common material of craft-making, model-assembling, package, and even furniture, MimoWork tested different styles including cutting and engraving on the plywood. There are some plywood applications from the MimoWork laser cutter.

Plywood is available in various thicknesses, ranging from 1/8" to 1". Thicker plywood offers greater stability and resistance to warping, but it can pose challenges when using a laser cutter due to increased difficulty in cutting. When working with thinner plywood, adjusting the laser cutter's power settings may be necessary to prevent material burn-through.
When selecting plywood for laser cutting, considering the wood grain is crucial, as it influences cutting and engraving outcomes. For precise and clean cuts, opt for plywood with a straight grain, while a wavy grain can achieve a more rustic appearance, aligning with your project's aesthetic goals.
There are three primary types of plywood: hardwood, softwood, and composite. Hardwood plywood, crafted from hardwoods like maple or oak, boasts higher density and durability, making it ideal for robust projects.
Nevertheless, it can be challenging to cut with a laser cutter. Softwood plywood, made from softer woods like pine or fir, lacks the strength of hardwood plywood but is considerably easier to cut. Composite plywood, a blend of hardwoods and softwoods, combines the strength of hardwood plywood with the ease of cutting found in softwood plywood.
